How are we all doing today?

I don’t know what the climate is like where you are reading from but there have been quite a few floods over here in the UK recently and an area not to far from me got hit pretty bad. But I’m still breathing and alive so all is well 🙂

Today I want to discuss an issue that seems to be affecting most of the world right now..

It’s like a bug that has gone viral and the antidote is hard to obtain (Too many Sci-fi movies I know lol)

I know every country had been affected with this syndrome as I see it around me everyday whether it be people I know or shows on the TV…

Without further ado, I bring you this weeks QOTW:

Let me ask you guys something…

Do you actually enjoy life?

Like on a serious note…Do you see yourself looking back when you are coming to the end and thinking:

“WOW, what an amazing life I’ve lived”

OR is it the total opposite for you?

I’m at a place in my life where I am trying to not only enjoy life as a whole, but also trying to enjoy each and everyday WITH EACH AND EVERY BREATH

WHY?

Because life is short…

It feels like just the other day I was 16 years young in school with my friends messing around in class, chatting up the girls in the playground, catching jokes at lunch time  and now I’m 25 setting up businesses and trying to help the world LOL – Life is crazy…

A lot of people complain about their current circumstances as they haven’t experienced anything worst…

People complain about mi-nute things. Through their complaining they forget about their blessings…Sound familiar?

As you are reading this now, I can only assume you have access to the Internet right?

I assume you know where your next meal is coming from, right?

I also assume that at this moment in time you are wearing clothes that cover your skin?

Add love, health and a roof over your head to the equation and you are looking at the BASIC human essentials to live a reasonably comfortable life. Money is needed of course, but maybe the amount of money you have acquired isn’t the amount of money you WANT.

“Please note that wanting and needing are two different entities within themselves”

From when you have what you NEED, you also have the POWER to go and get what it is you WANT. That is your natural given birth right my friend.

I’m trying to help you see that:

YOU ARE BLESSED BEYOND ALL MEANS AND HAVE WITHIN YOU THE POWER TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH IT. YOU HAVE THE POWER TO START TRULY LIVING LIFE RATHER THAN JUST EXISTING.

Moving On

Imagine if a doctor told you that you had 1 month to live… How would you live your life differently?

How would your life change in terms of how you live and what you do everyday?

I find people usually respond with an answer along the lines of:

“I’d enjoy my life to the fullest – I’d do this, I’d go here, I’d get that, I’d get this”

Hmmm, interesting…

Here’s a follow up question for you:

Why is it that we have to wait for circumstances to become so dire before we start embracing life and doing what we REALLY want to do?

I feel people get stuck in a rot as to what life is really about due to all the crap we are surrounded by and have to face everyday.

This includes: Society, the media, belief systems, thought patterns, religion and all the baggage we carry around with us. We then end up too tired, busy and blind as to what it is we TRULY want to do and how WE TRULY WANT TO LIVE…Sad times, I know…

It isn’t all bad though as within having this information is the acknowledgment of where you are in life at present and where you want to be…

By becoming conscious of your true self and not your “self image” that has been created by other’s, you take the 1st step into a new life by a new way of living, thinking, speaking and your interaction with others.

People work in 9-5 jobs that they hate. They have families that they can’t spend time with because they are stuck in the rat race. They loose a passion for living because the way they see it is:

“Life is not worth living if this is all I’m  living for”

There must be more!

People go through the routined cycle of “not enjoying life” by doing things they do not enjoy.

So it’s understandable why some (or most) of our population merely exist rather than living…

Good News…

WE CAN CHANGE THIS 🙂

Over night…

Hell no…

But it can be changed 🙂

First we have to look at ourselves individually…

I’ve learned that if you want to see a change in the world then YOU have to be that change…

Don’t worry about others when you have yourself to work on first…

I am in a position to talk like this as I am working on myself at present…

Through working on myself, I feel I can help others to also work on themselves in hope that they will also help others…A domino effect so to speak 🙂

Below is a small program/exercise I’ve put together to help you improve your life in all areas…

Time to Live Life Program

1) I believe that the first step to move from “existing” to “living” is to sit down by yourself when it’s quiet and really analyse your situaton.  Look at your life, where you are at the moment and where you want to be.

Just think, if you don’t know where you are at present, then how do you know where you are going?

You don’t know where to start moving towards if you don’t have a starting point. Makes sense right…

The same could be said if were lost on the motorway/highway and needed directions.

2) Assess what you are good at and what you enjoy doing in your spare time. Could you potentially make money from these skills/talents/hobbies?

If you work for money doing something you don’t enjoy, how long can you really do it for before insanity becomes a good friend of yours.

3) Once you establish what you want/where you want to be, devise a plan as to how you’re going to get there. Think of a sat nav for a moment…

You enter in where it is you want to go and it devises a route for you. Think of your journey to a better life as your journey on the motor way…

You are the sat nav devising your clear cut route…

Prepare for bumps in the road as THERE WILL BE BUMPS…

But that’s not a problem because you will have have prepared for those bumps well ahead of time…Right?

What is it going to take?

Are you willing to face personal sacrifice for what you want in order to be where you want to be? A lot of people aren’t willing to put the work in which is another reason why they chose the easier option which is to:

“Simply Just Exist”

Don’t be average. Don’t be normal. YOU ARE BETTER THAN THAT!

4) Once you have everything written down, take your time and go for it. Do at least ONE thing everyday to work towards what it is you want/where it is you want to be. The more things you do everyday working towards your goal/dream, the quicker it will manifest and become your current reality.

Aleast by doing ONE thing everyday, you are always ONE step closer 🙂

Apply the above religiously everyday and I can promise you will see results.

I’ll be sharing much more tools to help you lead a better life but I first have to apply these tools on myself to see if they work. So far I’m seeing results…

Ask my Mum, apparently I’m always happy (Even though I go through crap just like the rest of you) – But I decided that the crap I go through doesn’t determine my happiness and how I lead my life…

I use the crap and negativity as a ladder to keep climbing to a better me…

A new week, a new start (Although a new start can be made the moment you decide)

Life is short – Would you agree?

Once our time here on Earth is done, that’s it, it’s over…

Saying that, we need to stop looking at death as a bad thing as it is a natural part of life…

Most of us at some point in our lives have lost loved ones – This could either be family or friends…

That being said – WE ARE STILL HERE ALIVE AND BREATHING…

We for whatever reason have been blessed with the opportunity to experience life on this physical plane while others have passed…

What does this mean exactly?

It means that (WE) collectively as a people and (YOU) as an individual are here for a reason/purpose – Whether you identify with it or not…

If you chose to believe that you are just here to exist and breathe – You have free will and good luck to you…

HOWEVER, if you wake up everyday going through the same old routine and questioning life…You are not alone…

We are all GREAT at something…

A lot of the time, whatever we are GREAT at, we don’t realise as it’s:

“SOMETHING THAT IS JUST NORMAL TO US”

Here’s the problem – We don’t identify with OUR greatness as WE don’t see it as being great…

At the age of 25 I have now found what I am good at and I consciously make the effort to embrace it and share it with the rest of the world…Please don’t take these words lightly…

What’s up my fabulous people 🙂

How’s the motivation coming along? Are we all still pumped up from our January 2014 resolutions or have we started to slow down? The good thing is, goals can be set the moment you decide to set them. What I mean is, you don’t have to wait until the start of a new month, the start of a new week or the first thing Monday even – Set them as of when you are ready 🙂

Today I wanted to talk about “Inhibitions” and “Caring”.

I’ll first start of by saying…

At the age of 25 I am finally starting to loose all of my inibitions…It’s about time as well lol

I am a very conscious person and this conscious energy I contain has translated to me as “Nervousness” for many years throughout my childhood to this present day.

The thing is right, I’m a very confident person. I’ve just misunderstood why I’ve felt so self conscious around people all this time…

I’m conscious about my body language when I’m talking to others…

I’m conscious as to how my breath is smelling (Did I eat red onions at lunch?)

I’m conscious to the fact that I may have sleep in my eye and that the person I’m talking to may just be too polite to tell me…

Ohhh, here’s a good one: I had some broccoli at lunch time, do I have green stuff in my teeth lol

I mean, all of the above examples are things we are all conscious of, but in my head I am standing there and over analysing to the point that I’m not fully into the conversation…LOL, yes I have issues I know. So although I’m in the conversation, my mind is elsewhere…

But through my madness I’ve realised that there is a difference between being self conscious and “Caring to much about what others think”

And that my friends leasds me to todays QOTW:

“Never be afraid to be you and to be true – Shine your light bright as only you can do it right”

People care what others think about them due to the fear of judgement…

We care what others think so much that we don’t express our true-selves. I know as I “used” to live like that and speak to many others that still do.

This is not true living. Living true to yourself and being free means you are able to express yourself without the fear of  what the next person will say, do or think!

Society has created what it means to be “Normal” and I do not agree with it whatsoever…

Since when does a group of people have the power to create “What it means to be normal”

Being normal is being you…Don’t beleive the hype my people…

But we feel we have to conform to the norm. I’ve stopped conforming and I am now truly living just being myself and NOT what others want me to be, do or act.

And whoever doesn’t like it…Guess what they can go and do…

Actually, we will keep it polite and clean around here lol.

Seriously though…

I don’t mind when I’m called strange or different. Why on earth would I want to live and be like everyone else? What fun comes from “being normal”…

I find that “normal” people are boring and follow along like sheep doing what the rest of society and the population are doing…Hell no!

Where does my individuality then come into place?

Or yours?

I believe that whoever created us also created us to be different. (Hence we all have diffrent finger prints, eye colour, body types etc)

We quite clearly weren’t created to be the same. I mean, let’s look at it from DNA cellular level…We are all biologically made up differently if you want to start talking science.

That being said, I also beleive that we were created to express our individuality and too not judge others on the way they chose to go about living their lives.

(The same way we wouldn’t want to be judged for our differences in thoughts, feelings and emotions)

Nothing is weird or strange to me anymore – Just different.

For me to call something or someone weird, I’d have to be basing that of something I’ve seen before that wasn’t of the norm to me. So between me and my sub coscious mind we’d interpret it as weird as we don’t get it or understand it.

And this is the problem we humans have today. We reject, judge, criticize and analyse that which we do not know or understand. We will then find another 10 people who agree with our view point and judge that “one person” for being different…I hope you are following me…

Who give’s us the right to do that?

I believe the world would be a better place if we all expressed ourselves in a positive light…

Imagine 10 people making a cake compared to say 20 people?

Now the cake may not necessarily taste nice with the input of 20 people but it sure as hell would be different right…Not something out of the norm…

On the other hand it could be the best tasting cake you’ve ever ate, down to everyone’s creativity, love and freedom to add what tasted good to them…You following me?

We all see life through a different lens based upon our up bringing, past expereinces, pain and joy.

No one person will see anything the same – Maybe in a similar light yes, but never the same.

100 people can read the same book and all translate it differently. This is because we are all special individuals…

Dropping your inibitions takes conscious everyday work – I know as I’m currently going through it and have been doing so for say the last 8 months or so.

I find it does get easier though, so no need to fear. However, simply having this knowledge and not taking action upon it does nothing.

I find that to truely ackonwledge something you have to “act upon the knowledge” hence why it’s called acknowledge(ment).

For example – If you’re a guy and you like the colour pink but you are living in the fear of judgement of what others will think about you, then you my man will never be truly happy.

(Although pink is quite a feminine colour for a man) that is simply just my opinion and not something that you should concern yourself with – You see what I just did there???

Ladies, my beautiful ladies –  So what if someone doesn’t like the shoes you’re wearing: Ask yourself…

Am I wearing these shoes to impress others or am I wearing them for my own happiness and pleasure?

I’m confused as to how we humans even got into this state where we care so much about other peoples opinions of us. I know for sure I wasn’t born like this, you wasn’t born like this, so what’s up???

How did we reach this place in our lives where we care so much?

I say it’s the media, society and the taboo’s we are faced with everyday.

Men feel like their penis isn’t big enough because of mainstream media and the crap that comes with it.

Women feel they have to wear make up, false hair and nails because the magazines and modelling shows (the media again) say that THIS is how they should look or that THIS is what is in fashion and the “norm” to follow…

We have all been trained to be consumers of designer branding…

iPhone, Samnsung, Louis Vuitton, Nike, Adidas, BMWs, Mercedes…

People feel like their status is highrer than those who cannot afford Gucci or the latest smart phone…WTF?

I smell consumerism…

We live in an ego driven society that I will get deeper into at another time as I don’t want to deviate too much today…

I’m 25 now and I’m no longer holding back on ANYTHING!

It has taken for me to identify some KEY issues within myself  to then discuss the issues with you and too hopefully help you identify and solve them yourself.

You know that song “EXPRESS YOURSELF” – Let’s all make that our new ringtones and alarm clocks until we really get the message lol.

I’ve changed big time over the last 18 months and pretty damn quick too (For the better mind you) This change took place as I wasn’t happy with the way I was living before and knew that I was the only one that could do anything about it…

I am now the first to dance at a party if I feel like dancing. I don’t care about others looking at me like:

“Hey dude, it’s way to early to start dancing”

SAYS WHO???

I dance when I want to dance and ain’t no boddy stopping me. If my song comes on then I’m on the first on the dance floor dropping it like it’s hot baby 😉

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH GUYS – BE YOU, BE TRUE

The moment I stepped on that stage November 9th 2013 and strutted my stuff is the day I said good bye to fear.

It’s the day where I dropped much of my emotional baggage, inhibitions and much needed bull crap which was in the form of:

Others peoples opinion on me, what I looked like etc

Who’s that guy with the Afro?

I got on stage in front of 1800 people in just my underwear and my afro…

(I’m sure that will change anyone actually LOL)

But for real, I had to reach a place where I thought:

You know what, screw what anyone thinks about me…It’s my life, my stage and my time…

And this is the mind set that many of us NEED to adopt to start truly living and enjoying life. Every time you get out there whether it be your place of work, the local shops or anywhere in general…Just remember that:

It’s your stage and your life…

Now like I said above – It will take a lot of work and effort to drop your inhibitions as we have been living like this our WHOLE lives. The older you are the more work you MAY have to do…

However, I promise you that it does get easier…

It’s either that or live and not be 100% happy…

It’s Your life, Your choice and Your free will…

Wassup y’all,

How are all my wonderful people doing today?

We’re soon hitting the 1st of February already. It amazes me how fast time flies. It feels like just the other night I was boogying the night away on new years eve lol.

Apologies for not sticking to my word and posting up this weeks quote on Monday as I promised. I am truly a man of my word and hate letting people down. Truth be told, life happened…

My insomnia has been playing up real bad recently and I’m trying to juggle a lot of things at the moment. I set so much goals for myself that I think I need to slow down a little and practice the art of balance in ALL areas of my life. So once again, please do forgive me 🙂

As of January the 23rd I have officially hit the big 25 (woop woop)

I still look like 17 though so it’s all good lol.

Anyhoo,

Today I wanted to talk about Patience as it’s a word that we have all faced before and will continue to face throughout the duration of our lives.

And that my people brings me to this week QOTW:

“Patience is self control over a long period of time”

Me and impatience use to hang  out together as if we were best friends lol. No kidding right, I use to be so impatient that I wanted things instantly. I mean, don’t get me wrong – I was willing to put the work in to get what I wanted, it’s just that I always wanted it NOW NOW NOW!

Being a personal trainer I come across many people who want their dream physique instantaneously. It’s understandable though – The world we live in now, 90% (if not more) of the population want things done yesterday.

Out of that 90%:

45% are willing to put in the work

45% just want it by any means necesarry

I am going through a stage in my life now where I am consciously practising “The art of Patience” and boy it’s not a easy game…

I’m currently working on a product for the fitness industry and have been working on it since June 2013.

You can’t believe the patience I have had to learn over the last 7 months. My heart just wants to release the product to everyone but there has been so much legal work, paper work and ups and downs to go through that I have had no choice but to be patient. It’s been a critical life lesson for me not only for future business ventures but also other areas of my life.

~Everyone has the ability to be patient~

However, some are better at exercising patience over others. In order to work on being patient you have to first be conscious about your level and ability to be patient in the first place.

I kid you not, my life has improved SIGNIFICANTLY since I decided to work on my patience and my level of intolerance.

I used to get aggravated just by sitting in the traffic. Some might say that’s normal but I don’t want to follow the norm. It makes no sense being aggravated over something which you have no control over. Think about that…

I find that when you become more patient life seems to just flow. I talk a lot about the flow of life because I have found that the flow is accessible to EVERYONE.

Sadly, some choose not to go with the flow  or simply aren’t aware of it’s presence.

I have made it my job to help others find this flow as I want everyone to be happy…

Simples!

From my own experience I can understand why being patient “appears” to be hard. When we are practicing patience we have to also learn to let go a little.

So within practising patience also comes “The art of letting go”.

There’s a difference between letting go and giving up, allow me to explain…

Letting go is knowing that you are still working on your goal but not obsessing with it so to speak.

Giving up is simply that…Giving up!

Knowing and establishing the difference is vital before you can see improvement.

When I first stated learning to let go I felt as if I was going crazy as I had conditioned myself to “obsess” where a goal was concerned.

Let me give you an example – If you are doing a 90 day challenge to drop 14lbs but you get to day 90 and have only lost 9lbs, the average person would get angry with themselves and start with the negative self talk…You start telling yourself:

“I knew you couldn’t do it, just give up” OR

“Don’t worry that you didn’t make it, your a failure anyway” OR

“At least we tried, might as well go back to eating crap”

But you know better right…

Instead, exercise patience, loving yourself and say:

“Well, I done everything I could to loose the 14lbs and it didn’t happen in 90 days…

O well, at least I’m on track to losing another 5lbs to get to a total weight loss 14lbs…

Hmm, I’m a lot closer than I was before aren’t I…

Plus, I look better, feel better and half of the hard work is done…”

Hug yourself at this point, feel good about yourself for all your hard work and keep on pushing!

You see, humans don’t think like that – We beat ourselves up and for what???

~ENOUGH IS ENOUGH~

A balance of monitoring your thoughts & being patient will improve your life drastically – Use me as an example if you don’t anyone around you that has tried.

If you’ve been following my blog over the last 18 months you will know that everything I share with you is from my own personal experience and straight from the heart.

The sooner we start loving ourselves and stop with the negative self talk the sooner we will all be happy and living the lives that we all deserve AND want to live.

Hello My Good People,

How are we all doing today?

20 days into the New Year already…

Before you know it, we will all be talking about summer, beaches, 6 packs, leg’s, bums & tums… just you watch 🙂

Speaking of summer, I wouldn’t mind some hot sun on my skin now…The UK is FREEZING!

I’m not sure what the weather is like where you are right now but if it’s anything like the UK, let’s just say I feel your pain lol

Anywhoo…

For this weeks “Quote of the Week” I decided to look at my currentt situation in life and everyone else’s around me and I came to the conclusion that it doesn’t matter who you are, how wealthy you are, how much money you have in the bank or who you know…

WE ALL FEEL PAIN

This got me thinking….

You see, pain comes in different shapes, colours and sizes. No “one” pain is the same as another.

Pain may be different for you compared to someone else – The fact of the matter is we all feel it…

We can experience pain in a number of forms.

Pain can be felt from falling over and scraping our knee to feeling pain of loosing a loved one.

We may feel pain from loosing a job or from splitting up with a partner.

After viewing and thinking about pain with a new pair of eye’s and some updated 2014 thoughts, I’ve now adopted a new approach to the topic which I’d like to share with you all.

And that my friends leads me to today’s QOTW:

“Pain is merely another sign that you are alive. Therefore, give thanks when in pain”

Before I continue, let’s quickly look over the definition of the word “Pain”

1) Highly unpleasant physical sensation caused by illness or injury.

2) Mental suffering or distress.

So for me to turn around and say “Give Thanks” to the little bugger may seem crazy right?

Allow me to continue…

People view death as a taboo subject when in actuality it is a natural part of life. In fact, it is within the cycle of life and will happen to ALL of us eventually whether we like it or not. Yep, that’s right, we ain’t gonna be here forever….

(Which is why you need to enjoy life to the MAX)

Plant’s, Insect’s, Animals – We all go through the cycle…

If we weren’t alive in this physical body we’ve been blessed with, how would we experience anything…including pain?

Allow me ask you something on a personal level to help validate my point…

Are you grateful for life? 

If yes:

What are you grateful for?

If you answered no, ask yourself:

Where does the lack of gratefulness stem from?

Deep reflection and pondering upon this question can do 1 of 2 things:

1) Help you to clearly see how blessed your life truly is

2) Bring up a lot of hidden emotions, demons, beliefs and thought patterns that you didn’t even know you had hiding in your sub conscious mind

If you answered no, I have an exercise for you below which WILL help you move from a state of UN-gratefulness to Gratefulness  if followed everyday (notice the capital G)

(NOTE) This exercise is wonderful to perform even if you are in a state of Gratefulness. It’s a simple exercise you don’t have to head down to the gym for either…

(Things I am Grateful for in my Life AKA My Way to Gratefulness Exercise)

1) Reflect upon your life and others around you who are worst of than you are – Just watch the news if you’re struggling…

2) Buy a small note book and pen

3) Label the note book “Things I am Grateful for in my Life” – It has to be this title!

4) Write down 5 things that your grateful for EVERYDAY

Tune into your body and listen to your own guidance system..We all have one. We just haven’t been made aware of it or have learned how to tune into it properly.

I find writing down what we are grateful for put’s us in a place of “Feeling Good” and helps us to to go with the natural flow of life.

I don’t believe that our experience in life was meant to be “hard” or “painful” so to speak. I believe we are to feel & experience these emotions to not only master them but to also be able to identify them upon being faced with them again in our lives.

Seeing how we react to the same emotions after our previous lessons with them is like a test, a Life test so to speak…

So…What does pain have to do with being grateful then?

Well, I find that once we are truly happy and grateful in life and have found our purpose and direction….

THEN and only then can we start to look to pain as an indicator for being alive and grateful…Make sense?

It really is a new way of thinking. A new way for that works for me and hopefully works for you.

I use my pain as motivation and so can you….

I turn negative into positive and so can you….

Hey Guys,

Seeing as it’s the last day of the year I thought I’d write a small post about some random stuff and kinda just go with the flow…

Where do I start? 

2013 has been one of the best years of my life. I started the year with no vision that I’d be where I am today. Life has a way to carry you down this stream if you learn to go with the flow. I’d set many goals at the start of 2013 and through setting out to achieve them, life has taken me down this path that I hadn’t anticipated.

I’ve learned a lot about myself as an individual by going through life and trying to learn from everyday experiences.

This year I’ve travelled, achieved goals, met new friends, over come challenges, helped people who’ve come across my path and I am living everyday as if it’s my last – I am literally trying to squeeze as much joy out of life as I can. Imagine life was toothpaste in the tube about to run out – That’s the type of squeeze I’m talking about lol.

Never give up!

I never started the year knowing that I’d compete in not one, but two bodybuilding/fitness shows standing in front of 1000’s of people. I never knew that I would experience my first professional studio photo shoot with a top photographer in the city of London. I never knew or saw any of this guys. I mean, I saw it in my mind and knew that I would make it happen one day but I never this year would be the year. It makes me think, none of us know where life is going to take us. We just gotta stay positive and keep trying. PERIOD!

Life’s way too short not to enjoy. It’s too short to remain angry at someone because of something that happened in the past. It’s too short to harbour negative energy towards anyone because in turn all that will happen is it will affect your happiness. 

I mean think about it. If you’re in a state of mind where you’re constantly seeking to get revenge on someone, how happy in your life can you truly be?

I have learned to forgive all the people in my life who have hurt me in the past and who will hurt me in the future as I want to live in peace with myself and be happy. Deep down we all know that true happiness doesn’t arrive until we are at peace with ourselves.

Please do not confuse what I mean when I say forgiveness. I don’t mean forgiveness in the traditional sense as in “Forgive, forget and be friends again”, but forgiveness as in to forgive so you can be at peace of mind.

I look back at my life now and can see that I have truly become a man. Upon reflection, I can see that I have come a long way from where I use to be. I now recognise that my life has been one big lesson. Each day is really a school for learning. 

All the situations I’ve been in that I once called negative or bad have been stepping stones to make me the guy that I am today.

“Without negativity in my life, I wouldn’t aspire to be positive” 

I know this may sound crazy to some but I now appreciate negativity in my life. In fact, I appreciate all the polarities which fall under negativity.

Let me explain. When I’m angry, I learn to be remain calm. I don’t like getting or being angry, so I consciously focus my attention on remaining calm when I find myself in “negative” situations. Through mastering and learning to control all negative aspects of ourselves we become stronger individuals. I hope you now have a better understanding of what I mean when I say I welcome negativity in my life.

I now view life as a game. One big massive game. And within this massive game contains games within games (Inception).

We all play the numbers game which requires everyday participation.

In fact, the numbers game takes up the majority of our lives. If you are not playing in this game, life will become very difficult for you.

If you hadn’t clocked on by now I’m talking about “Money“. In today’s reality we are all playing the numbers game and you have no choice but to play (unless you live out in the hills somewhere)

But I’ve realised something – Life isn’t actually all about money. You may think I’m contradicting myself, so again allow me to explain…

On the bigger picture of life, we are all human. We all have the same God given needs and are made up of the same bio-logical structure. We all need love, food, shelter, health and air to breathe right…

From what I find truth in, life is all about creating. It’s about creating and sharing with the world what you are good at. Developing your natural born skills, loving others and doing your part to making the world a better place. However, this isn’t our reality…

 Instead, we live in a world where our reality has become “Survive Survive Survive”.

We are all so busy trying to survive and live…So much so that we’re not getting the opportunity to truly live and enjoy life. You following me?

It’s not all bad though as within all of that I have also learned something else. We all have the power to shape our reality…

Who controls your thoughts? YOU

Thoughts are what make up your…? REALITY

Now, if your thoughts are what make up your reality and you control your thoughts then you can clearly understand that you are the one with the power. And we all know that with power comes responsibility…

WE ALL HAVE THE POWER TO SHAPE OUR REALITY

When you make a comment such as:

“I’m depressed because this person hurt my feelings” OR

“I’ve had a bad day because my boss was being a bone head”

Do you realise you that you have given that person the power to control how you are feeling? You are consciously allowing them to shape your reality. No one deserves that sort of control over you but YOURSELF! Never forget that!

Looking back at life and thinking over 2013 I can truly see that I am living in a different reality to which I use to live. I don’t even feel like myself any more at times. That might sound bad but it’s actually a good thing.

I think what has happened is, I’ve realised my true potential and what I can achieve in this life time. But because I’ve created this self image of myself which is a portrait of all my lower aspects, I’ve identified myself with all those lower aspects and have been living my life thinking that “That is who I am” and “That is all I am” .

When I speak to people about this subject, I see that we are all in it together. Many others have created this poisonous “Self Image” of themselves that have stemmed from hurtful past experiences which have built up and manifested into emotional blockages such as confidence issues, fear, worry of failure, lack of self worth, fear of rejection…We don’t believe in ourselves and I believe this is the root cause of it all.

We don’t see all the good things we have been doing in our lives. We don’t recognise all the wonderful things we have been doing for ourselves and others around us until someone points it out. Why?

Because we were “just” being “Ourselves”

What does your self image say about you?

Do you walk with confidence because you know your true worth or are you living a life filled with fear?

 

Do you know how special you are? If so, do you embrace it?

If not, ask yourself why exactly you are not special?

Listen to the answer you hear in your mind? The answer may be along the lines of a mistake you’ve made in the past.

Whatever it is, face it, analyse it, work with it and make peace with it. Don’t move into 2014 with any unnecessary emotional baggage. If you are carrying baggage, make 2014 the year to drop the load and live in peace. 

I could type forever but seeing as it’s New Years Eve I don’t want to bore you any longer lol.

Guys, I wish a you all a wonderful 2014.

Don’t be too down on yourself if you never made it happen like you wanted to in 2013. Just review what could have been better and make it right for 2014.

That’s the good thing about failure. You fail, You “learn”, You make it right and go for it again and again until you finally get right…

You will realise soon enough though that because of “failure” you learned to reach success and had it right all along…

Morning guys,

Thursday already – Time has definitely speeded up somehow LOL

I was thinking the other day that life is short and I’ll tell you why…

It feels like just the other day I was in secondary school and now I’m quickly approaching the age 30 (5 years give or take LOL) but never the less, I look back and think where has time flown…

I don’t know exactly where life is taking me, but I do know that I consciously make the effort everyday to help make tomorrow better than it was today by simply applying myself.

This mindset helps me to stay striving and pushing for better as I believe if I continue with this attitude for the next 5 years, my life path should be one filled with blessings and success.

They say, “You reap what you sow” so it makes sense to focus our attention on sowing continuously everyday in all aspects of our life so we continue reaping – Common sense right or is it?

I’ll leave you to think about that one….

How are we all doing today? As always, I hope you’re all doing well.

Now that I’ve finished competing for the year and all my prep and dieting is over, I have time to get back to writing some heart felt post 😀

Interestingly enough, I’ve had A LOT of request for me to bring back the “Quotes of the Week” post. It appears it resonated with you guys more than I was aware of, so it’s only right I bring it back with no delay 🙂

For those of you who are new here, once a week I take a famously written quote and expand on it in detail giving you my philosophy and perspective. Check a previous “Quote of the Week” here for an example of what I am referring to. 

It’s been such a fantastic year for me and in January 2013, I never saw NONE of this all happening – What an incredible journey it’s all been. Without you guys who take your time to even read my post and support me, none of this would exist in my reality… So thank you all for being apart of my journey.

This video right here has nearly 4 million hits and for a real good reason.

When I first watched the video, I was unemployed at the time and trying to find direction in my life. It gave me chills, brought a tear to my eyes and made me think real hard about what I wanted from life…

However, upon trying to dig deeper, I realised that I never knew what I wanted…

I felt lost, depressed and at the time I felt as if the future had nothing for me…I was heading down a slippery slope…

Through self talk, self analysis, taking a deeper look at myself, my skills and natural born talents, I have reached a point where I have finally found my life’s purpose…

~It’s only right to at least “try” and help the man who’s shoes I once wore~

Through finding that purpose, I now have direction and am able to help other find and identify theirs…

I love writing, helping people, educating others on health and nutrition and guiding them on looking after their bodies.

I love all things fitness related, music, art, science and the list goes on…Through self analysis, you can also tap into your deeper self.

The deeper self is where your emotions come from (But we will get into that another time)

I say everything happens for a reason as I was once the most unhealthiest person around with no knowledge on nutrition and had no one at the time to guide me and tell me that what I was doing to my body was wrong. I see others in the position I was once in and it’s only right to at least “try” and help the man who’s shoes I once wore…

However, sometimes you find you want to help someone more than they want to help themselves and in a situation as such, you have to leave them be…It will happen for them when the time is right…

A combination of knowing where you want to be in life combined with motivation, passion, persistence and the ability to be patient can take you down a wonderful path you had never anticipated…I am currently on that path…

I invite you to question yourself everyday and every aspect of your being as that’s the only way you are going to truly get to know yourself better and become more in tune with your body…

Question your thought’s, your emotions, your goals and your ego. Learn to identify with your true self and recognise that your true self know’s nothing but love and happiness and if you find you are not happy, feel loved or giving love, it’s likely that you’re not aligned with your true self.

In laymans terms, find thoughts that make you feel good no matter what…

I mean, why would you ever want to make yourselves feel bad – Does that even make sense?

Why would you create such negativity for yourself as an individual?

Most people I hope will resonate with this message in one way or another. It’s time we started truly loving ourselves and others around us and recognising we are all one…

I use to hear people say “we are all one” and thought it was a load of mumbo jumbo but I truly recognise now that we are all one as it’s the same energy keeping us all alive – You will understand this concept when the time is right for you…

By the way, when I say love others around you, that doesn’t mean love in the traditional sense as if being with a partner or love for a family member – But love as in an act of kindness or something as simple as smiling at that old lady down the street…

I see many lost souls, and all my heart want’s to do is help…

I love you all and hope you do not take my words lightly…

I thank Eric Thomas who helped me find direction in life and hopefully I can return the favour by reaching out to others…
