Whats good people – I hope everyone is well. I haven’t been around much this year as life has taken a hold of me. I’m working full time again and after moving home in January, me and my family are now feeling settled.

My neck injury has also healed and I have the thumbs up to start training again.

Feeling settled and motivated six months into the year, I thought I’d hit you up with some Friday/Weekend motivation – I hope you enjoy.

Hey Guys,

Happy New Year everybody. I hope you are all well and had a wonderful Christmas.

Sorry I’ve been so quiet as of late. I’ve had a neck injury since late October and haven’t been to the gym or fully functional since, but I’ve been surviving and pushing through. I think I either slept badly or pulled something at the gym (who knows – I’m not one to speculate)

I’ve also been going through the process of moving home, and as you can imagine moving home can be very tiring and stressful – But me and the family are all good never the less.

How is everyone doing though – I hope you are all ready for a new year ahead, have lot’s of goals planned and aren’t feeling to stuffed from Christmas LOL.

This year I will be dropping my highly anticipated e-book online for free with the hope of writing more as time goes on. Finding publishers to put your stuff out there isn’t easy and although self publishing does exist, in order for me to make any money from writing, I’d need to grow my following to 50,000 plus (no easy task) but I’m confident the Universe will work something out for me (just gotta have faith and keep putting that work in)

Anyhoo, that’s me for today as I’m now on my way back to my old house to finish clearing up the rest of the junk that is just lying there (the amount of stuff me and my family have accumulated over the last 9 years is just beyond me LOL)

No promises people, but I look to be back soon to give you lot some more QOTW, Fat Loss Tips, New Exercises, Motivational content and anything thing else that y’all request (Just email me a topic and I’ll blog about it if I have the knowledge)

In life, it’s hard to make promises sometimes as you never know what blockages are going to be in the way, and this I have come to learn.

What’s up my beautiful people🙂

I hope everyone’s doing well, enjoying life and eating good.

Today is part “1 of 5” of the Fat Loss 101 blog series.

So what inspired this post then Mr Dees Fitness?


I met up with my cousin the other day and we was talking until the early hours in the morning. One of the subjects that came up was “Fat Loss”. He looked me square in the eye’s and said:

“Hey bro – I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but this fat just isn’t shifting…Is it even possible to lose?”

I chuckled and said “Of course it’s possible, it’s not easy though.”

I too felt like this at one point in my life, as I’m sure many of you do – But I never gave up hope and nor should you…

Everybody want’s that special pill – But if it existed, we would all be taking it I’m sure – But the truth is, there are no short cuts I’m afraid (Healthy ones that I know of any way LOL)

But without further ado, let’s get straight to business!

Never Eat Until You’re Bloated


I know I know, we’ve all been there before – When the food taste so good that you struggle to put the knife and fork down.

You’re feeling full already but the flavours are so immense that you can’t help but to keep going. You feel that bloated feeling coming on but you can still find some space for desert.

You chew your way through that cake and ice cream and out of no where you hear a knock at the front door…


It’s your long time friend Mr Bloat.

He’s come to visit you and plans to stay for a very long time lol…

The Lesson

Never eat until you feel bloated, it’s really not a nice feeling. Portion control becomes a myth when the food enslaves you.

I teach all my clients to eat until they are 80% full. A good way to measure what 80% feels like for you is to eat to the point where you could tuck away a little more…No need to go over board!

Did you know that the more you stuff/over fill your stomach, is the more it starts to distend…

This is why some guy’s have abs and a massive belly at the same time…

How are we all doing on this fine day. I hope everyone is well and enjoying life the way it’s supposed to be enjoyed🙂

Today is just a quick thank you to all my followers and viewers for making this site as phenomenal as it is. If I didn’t have followers, I wouldn’t be as motivated to keep the site going. But you guys support me with your e-mails of gratitude, your views and your follows and it really does mean a lot to me – Thank You.

I don’t know what direction this site will go in, but I will continue writing content from the heart as it seems that is what you guys like. I now literally have followers from all over the world and this fills me with joy as I never knew it was possible. I never anticipated how massive this site would actually grow. From a hobby to something I look to form as a life time career.

I’m a normal guy in my 20’s from the UK who started this site to make myself a name in the fitness industry not really knowing what that entailed. Since then I have competed in two bodubuilding shows, helped 1000’s of people to stay motivated, inspired, and on track with different areas of their lives.

I’ve seen that the material I write actually benefits peoples lives and this really does mean a lot to me as I never knew I had the potential to be a writer in any way, shape or form…

I even had a woman from my gym share with me that from reading my website it helped her through her divorce – Thank you for sharing this with me and I hope you are reading this now.

After seeing 1600 people sign up to my site in just 40 days with no promotion from my end, I knew that I had to write a book and continue sharing material with y’all.

I would start my YouTube channel now, but I don’t know if I can be 100% consistent as of yet hence why I’m waiting until 2016 to see how my time table changes.

I don’t know when any of you started following my site, but if you started following me in 2013 just before my first bodybuilding show, you will have seen my progression from the chubby boy in the gym to the guy with abs in just over 90 days – It is possible for anyone to sculpt their dream physique, you just gotta want it badly enough…

Setting goals and achieving them is what I’m all about and I love helping you guys to do the same – I’ve been doing it for over 3 years now and look to continue in bigger and better ways🙂

They say setting goals and achieving them deems you as a successful person – I agree on this one.

We can all be successful and happy – We just have to strive for it knowing that it is possible.

~If you think something isn’t possible, then you’re right. If you KNOW it’s possible, then you are also right. It’s all about how you think and what you believe that defines your reality~

The Wrap Up

Before I go though, I just want to share with you guys a picture of when I first started going to the gym. I feel to share this picture as I speak to so many people that don’t believe it’s possible to get abs or to even sculpt their dream physique and this is both a lie and limiting thought process.

The moment I said, OK, time to change - No more talking!

I remember I took a trip out to the sunny Islands of Jamaica in 2007 and I was trying to suck in my belly every time a hot girl walked past, but it just wasn’t working – Sad times right :-( LOL

That’s when I knew it was time for me to do something…


Then after years of dedication, consistency, clean eating and smart training, I evolved like a Dragon Ball Z character into this:

NOW when I go to holiday, it’s a totally different ball game. The girls are coming at me from left, right and centre (yes I am smiling as I write this hehehe)

I used visualisation techniques and saw what I wanted to look like and I surely got there in the end…

Moral of the story: If I can do it, so can you…

I hope everyone is well, living life and making their dreams a reality.

I was just watching the above video on Youtube and had to share it with you lovely people🙂


Just to let y’all know, I’ve been busy behind the scenes writing my book and I’m about 50% complete😉 I will do a free version to give you guys an insight. As stated before, it will be along the lines of self improvement, self motivation and living a better quality of life through changing your psyche and state of mind.

My goal is to help people live a happier life in anyway that I can.

I have to be honest though, I haven’t found it easy as I am now also working full time, currently through the process of moving home and sorting out some personal issues – But that is life…

I’ve also upgraded my Apple Mac Computer that has a HD camera for shooting Youtube videos for 2016 – I’ve always wanted my own Youtube channel and look forward to creating some footage along side this blog.

How are we all doing on this beautiful day. I hope everyone is doing well and making stuff happen. I wanted to do a Motivation Monday today, but I promised to do a QOTW and felt in the mood to write one. I’ve found quotes to be rather useful to help us get through our day to day grind. They work as powerful mood up lifters when we can sometimes be feeling down. I find myself reading quotes a few times a day and meditating on the messages that they bring.

Today I wanted to share a quote with you that resonates with me on all levels. So without further ado, I bring to you today’s quote of the week:

The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential… these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.

Now, as humans, we all have what it takes to make our dreams a reality – EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US!

But we have been faced with many limitations since birth. Limitations can come in many different forms:

  1. Our Thought Process On Life
  2. The Self Image We Hold For Ourselves
  3. Statements which don’t hold true i.e – “We Can’t, It’s Not Possible,You Don’t have what it takes, It’s Going To Take To Long” and things around that nature

Now, let me ask you individually through the screen…

Do you have the will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential?

Whatever it is that you want from life, you have to want it badly enough to go and get it – Because believe me, it’s not going to get up and just come strolling along to you.

You see, we all have what it takes to be winners – But are you putting in the work to be a winner?

Do you have the desire to succeed? A lot of people say they want success, but if they really wanted it they would go out and chase it. Some of you like the idea of success but don’t believe it can be ascertained, so you just dream about it all day long and live in fantasy land…

This all changes today!

Today is the day that you start unlocking your full potential. And I’m happy that I can help you to do so. But trust me on this one, you have to be willing to put in the ground work first.

Adopting a winners mind set doesn’t just happen over night. It takes at least 33 consecutive days before your subconscious mind adjust to the re-programming.

OK, before we move on – Let me ask you another question:

What does it even mean for  you to unlock your full potential?

The beauty of life is that we are all individuals and will all inevitably answer that question differently.

To me, unlocking my full potential meant a number of things:

  1. Writing – A few years ago I never knew that I was good at writing until I created this website and found I had natural writing abilities. Unlocking my potential within the realms of writing meant for me that I was to explore and write about different topics. This was one of the ways I could see for me to grow as a writer.
  2. Music – My hidden secret is that I am a Musician in my spare time. I am a deep music lover and took the plunge to learn how to create music back in 2011. Like writing, I am naturally good at it and have been learning how to make House music on the weekends. I know that to get better I have to keep practising. And by practising I will always be that one step closer to reaching my full potential within the realms of music.
  3. Bodybuilding – For those of you who have been following my journey, you would have seen that I use to be the chubby boy with no abs. But I knew that with the right nutrition and the right training that I could excel and reach close to my bodies full potential.

The beautiful thing with the body though is that we can reach a state of what we call perfection and still always work at perfecting. It’s a never ending game and the same could be said with striving for success in life. Do we ever stop?

Back to you though, your potential and the question above… 

What does it mean for you to unlock your full potential?


I’ll help you to get the ball rolling:

  1. What are you good at?
  2. What do you do in your spare time?
  3. What do you enjoy doing?
  4. What would you like to improve?

The above questions can help you to look at your life in a broader light and bring about new energy in terms of your thinking. I’ve been well for those asking thank you🙂

I’m back in the gym 5 days a week now, 100% clean eating (well a little treat on weekends LOL) and I’m half way into my ebook – I’m doing one for free and releasing a self published version – So I’ve been a busy bunny guys.

I aim to blog at least twice a week now (I’m scared to make any promises LOL) but I want to help you guys as much as I can whilst living a balanced social life.

But without further ado, let’s get straight to business…

Goals and Motivation

I believe that life has added value when we have goals to work towards, wouldn’t you agree?

It gives us motivation and drive to focus our energy on something that is likely to bring us success in the future, and I’m sure we all want to be successful in life.

Staying motivated isn’t easy though, and I’m sure we’ve all been in a situation where we’ve lacked motivation in some way, shape or form – But there are many tools to help us stay on track and today I will share some with you.

Before we get to the juicy stuff though – Let me ask you all a question or 2…

1) What does Success mean to you?

2) Do you believe that you have what it takes to go and make success a reality for you?

Meditate on that for a moment…

As humans, we sometimes grow up facing face self doubt and this can affect how we view ourselves on a daily basis. Believe it or not, self doubt can be the determining factor as to whether we obtain success or not and I’ll tell you why…

If you don’t believe in yourself, who is going to believe in you? Who is going to keep you going when times get tough eh?

And if you start doubting your character, its also easy to find excuses to give up when times get rough.

Self doubt will have that little voice in your head telling you that you can’t do it or even worst, put you in a state of procrastination saying:

 “I’ll Do It Another Time” – Poison to be avoided at all cost!

Also, if you don’t see yourself in a positive light, it’s hard for others to do so as well. Subconsciously without realising, the state of self doubt will have you carrying yourself in a certain manner that is easily noticeable by others around you.

For example, your body language, the way in which you speak and how you carry yourself in general are all critical factors that determine whether someone views you as confident or not.

(I will write a post soon about how to boost Confidence in day to day life)

But as today is all about Motivation, below I will share a tip to help you stay Motivated and on track with your goals.



I’ve spoke about Visualisation before, but it is a vital part of the process where goal setting and staying motivated is concerned. I usually sit with my clients and get them to visualise what it is that they want from life. Without visualising where you want to be, how can you know where you want to go. Think on that for a moment…

Visualise very clearly and vividly what career you want for yourself. Visualise your dream partner. Visualise your dream car. Visualise the amount of money you want to make. Keep dreaming and dream big my people. If any of you have watched the DVD the Secret or know anything about Law of Attraction, you will know how important visualisations are. They bring about a wonderful feeling in the present moment of now. One thing the DVD didn’t really mention though is that:

Law of Attraction + Action = Success

You see, you can’t just dream big and take no action…You have to go out there and make stuff happen…Ya Dig!

Write Down Your Goals


I don’t mess around when it come’s to goal setting. I have my goals written down in a small book that I carry around with me. It’s a constant reminder why I can’t eat McDonalds when I’m doing a Bodybuilding show or a modelling shoot.

You always want to review your goals daily to help you stay on track and to keep the consistency going.

Bedroom walls, the kitchen, the bathroom i.e are all great places to stick your goals up. Write them down on a piece of paper (post it notes even) and stick them up all around your house. This is how I practice and adopt self motivation…

You see, I’m a guy who loves my food – And I mean LOVE my food LOL – So staying motivated when it comes to getting abs isn’t always the easiest for me. (My earlier followers have seen me out of shape before – I will try and re-upload the pictures to show you how far I’ve come from being tubby to the boy with abs)
